MF goes GREEN on the roads

MF Communications who pass on their green message to their clients around the world has taken this message to the roads by purchasing there all new Ford Transit ECOnetic.

Ford had launched the ECOnetic models into their range of Fiesta and Mondeo passenger cars but have taken to the next level and brought this into their commercial fleet.

Ford claims that 39.2mpg is possible along with a tax-friendly CO2 emissions count of just 189g/km which Ford claims to be best in class.

The Transit ECOnetic has the following revisions to help get the emissions lower:

* Optimized rolling resistance tyres (215/75R16) and low friction oil
* Green shift indicator light
* Modified engine calibration
* Standard 70mph speed limiter
* New low-drag wheel covers

MF Communications decided to make the purchase of Fords ECOnetic Transit for a number of reasons. There Chief Engineer Andre Handwerg who spends hour after hour driving the length and breadth of the country servicing clients phone systems said “ purchasing the Transit ECOnetic has been fantastic for the company as we now spend a lot less on fuel and I spend less time at the pump. We as a company promote to our clients about being green and good to the environment by extending the life of their current phone systems and to buy our refurbished parts to expand and develop their current platforms instead of buying new, so buying the ECOnetic keeps our green message going“.

MF Communications reports good savings on fuel and tax as the comparable model was significantly higher tax banded. MF Communication serves Operators and Carriers across Europe and often have engineers driving across Europe to provide equipment and de install equipment from their network, costs here have also been cut due to the high fuel economy of reported 39mpg compared to 28mpg compared to other vehicles in the MF Communication Fleet.
