The Brief

Dr Trevor Hudson was using a Meridian Norstar Compact 616.  Line 1 was defective and this stopped all inbound call traffic completely. Dr Hudson liked the system but struggled to locate anybody that could instantly help him.

Our Solution

Diagnosed fault and moved Line 1 to a spare line and reprogrammed system. Within 2 hours of receiving the call, an MF Communications engineer was on his way to site. The engineer diagnosed the fault, moved Line 1 to a spare connection and reprogrammed the Norstar 616 telephone system to recognise the spare line as Line 1.  This resolved the issue with the telephone system and inbound calls were received once more. Dr Hudson was very pleased as he could continue using the system and was not pushed into upgrading, even though the Norstar 616 is no longer manufactured. MF Communications support legacy telephone equipment that is end of life.
