The Brief

iKhofi had a Hosted Telephony Solution where their calls were routed in out via a data connection (VoIP) . To use this service the user  needs to have a strong and robust internet connection with at least 100k (0.1Mb) upload speed to carry the voice traffic. Unfortunately iKhofi were experiencing poor call quality and were experiencing dropped calls.  This was extremely frustrating for them and could have in numerous lost sales calls.

Our Solution

We tested the speed of the internet connection on site and discovered it was not sufficient to carry the amount of voice traffic they needed, so we recommended they revert back to traditional digital ISDN lines.

We ported their numbers from the Hosted VoIP platform back to the BT platform and installed ISDN lines, at the same time installing a Siemens Hipath 3350 System. Since the installation of ISDN lines and the Siemens Hipath 3350 telephone system they have not lost one call and are extremely pleased with the current level of service.

I had a problem with my telephone system that I could not fix and was missing vital calls and potential business. Yan was prompt to reply and locate the issue which turned out to be a hosted solution that didn't work.  He recommended a Hipath system which was installed quickly and programmed to how I needed it. We now also use MF Communications for our landlines which works out cost effective and suits our needs. We recently moved locations and because we had a maintenance package with MF Communications, we were able to relocate and reinstall with no problems. This prompted us to change our mobile network, which Yan was able to tailor to our requirements.
