ATIS ready – ATIS, which stands for Automatic Transmitter Identification System, is a system that is utilized and mandated on inland waterways in several countries across mainland Europe. At the conclusion of each transmission, the radio emits a unique FFSK data signal that includes the user or vessel’s distinct ATIS call sign, identifying you to marine coast stations and inland stations.
