The Ascom d83 Protector EX (DH8-ACAB) is a highly durable DECT cordless telephone designed specifically for professionals operating in extreme conditions. Its compact size makes it easy to transport, and it has undergone extensive testing to meet the highest standards of robustness. With an IP67 certification, this telephone is completely safeguarded against dust and can withstand temporary immersion in water (up to a depth of 1 meter for a maximum of 30 minutes). Its reinforced casing enables it to endure temperature fluctuations and falls from heights of up to 2 meters, enhancing its longevity. This D83 Protector model is intended for use in potentially hazardous environments and is certified according to the ATEX standard, which assesses the risk level of various workplaces based on the type of fuel and working conditions, ensuring that users can operate their devices safely, no matter where they are.

Equipped with a powerful 950mAh Li-Ion battery that can be recharged via the Versatile Connector, this phone provides up to 120 hours of standby time, allowing users to communicate for over 10 continuous hours. Additionally, it features a relatively quick charging time, requiring only 4 hours to reach a full charge. The location system, enabled by DECT, Ascom IR, Low Frequency, and Bluetooth Low Energy technologies, allows users to track the precise position of the phones within range in real time. To ensure the safety of all users, this model is equipped with alarms and a push-button feature that can alert others in case of loss of verticality, unusual immobility, or tearing, with acoustic signals and automatic emergency calls that can also be configured.

UK Delivery

We aim for next day delivery. Any order placed before 1.00 pm on any business day (Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays) should be delivered the next business day before 5.30 pm (assuming the item is in stock).

Worldwide Delivery

We ship worldwide from our UK warehouse. All international shipment charges are quoted per parcel. If your order exceeds the standard parcel size further shipment charges will be due before the order can be shipped. We will contact you directly with any additional shipment charges are due.

  1. The Customer is required to inspect all goods upon receipt and to notify MF Communications Limited of any defects or complaints within 7 days of receiving goods.
  2. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the safe return of faulty or incorrect goods to MF Communications Limited.
  3. All goods returned must clearly state customers name, order no, telephone number, fault details and proof of purchasing. These goods must be in MF Communications Limited’s original packaging and condition, with original insertions, fixtures and parts. Failure to do so will result in the refund being invalidated.
  4. We use tamper proof labels which are stuck to each item sold by MF Communications Limited. This ensures that goods have been purchased from MF Communications Limited. When the label is peeled back MF Communications Limited Company details sticks to the glue and the label will then say void. No goods will be accepted back unless this label is intact.
  5. Restocking Fee 20% UK Only. Returned Goods MUST be in re-saleable condition or customer will be charged full invoice value.
