Sales & Account Manager

The main purpose of the role is to help increase revenues by selling our telecoms equipment and telecoms services into companies in the UK. This would also include cross selling/up selling to existing customers.

Key activities include:

  • Establishing new contacts and generating leads
  • Booking sales appointments
  • Dealing with established clients
  • Handling incoming enquiries from our websites
  • Quoting prices/delivery and seeing the order through to fulfilment, including liaising with the warehouse and generating invoices

As a business, we require all our employees to adopt a hands-on approach, so this diverse role would suit someone with bags of initiative who is looking for a long-term career opportunity. You should work well in a team and be willing to learn and adapt and you should be happy to travel locally within the South East area.

At least a year’s experience in a similar role is preferable, ideally selling or supporting technical products, however, full training will be given to the ideal candidate. We offer a friendly working environment with perks such as commission and quarterly staff outings.

Preferred skills:

  • Direct sales or telesales experience
  • Confident telephone manner
  • GCSE English and Maths
  • Full clean drivers licence

Junior Engineer

We have a position for a technically minded individual looking for a career in the telecoms/IT industry. Perhaps you already work in IT/computing in a support role, or you have been studying in this area. Either way, we want to hear from you. You will work closely with our head engineer, learning on the job and the role will involve both manual and desk-based working.

A confident telephone manner and good customer service skills are a must for this customer-facing role and you must also have a full clean driver’s licence and be prepared to spend time away from the office and on-site.

  • Programming phone systems
  • Some phone and phone system engineering
  • Learning new products and portal platforms
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults with customer phone systems
  • Liaising with suppliers and carriers
  • Receiving and logging support calls
  • Placing orders for new lines

  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Confident telephone manner
