The Cisco® Wireless IP Phone 8821-EX is a lightweight, resilient and secure 802.11 wireless LAN handset ideal for highly mobile on-site staff, particularly in settings such as healthcare, engineering, hospitality, manufacturing, retail and oil rig workers. It delivers cost-effective voice over wireless LAN (VoWLAN) communications.

The 8821-EX is based on the Cisco Wireless IP Phone 8821 but with added non-sparking support for temporary exposure in potentially combustible environments. It is ATEX Class I, Zone 2 and CSA Class I, Division 2 certified. It is also IP67 rated for protection against dust, splash, and water. In addition it passed MIL-STD-810G testing, making it shock resistant and resilient to being dropped.

The 8821-EX has enhanced security features with support SHA-1 and SHA-2 signatures and automatic certificate renewal (SCEP support) makes IT administration easier. 

Users benefit from a large 240×320 pixel (6cm/2.4inch) high resolution colour screen and is similar to the Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series desk phones to use. It has exceptional HD voice quality with secure roaming support across the site and is compatible with third-party wireless headsets for added freedom.

The 8821-EX business phone supports many XML applications such as push-to-talk and Lone Worker. The battery life provides a minimum of 13 hours of talk time. 

The Cisco 8821-EX has all the basic functions expected, such as volume control, voicemail, two soft keys for screen based features, mute, speakerphone and five-way navigation support. Some of the other features include six line appearances, auto-answer (including from a headset), automatic keypad lock, callback, call forward, call logs, call park and pickup, call timer, call waiting, caller ID, cBarge, directories, conference, group call pick up, immediate divert, redial, Meet-me conference, network profiles, predialing, privacy, presence, QRT, ringtone per line, shared line, support for mutual-authentication TLS, Cisco Unified Communications Manager WLAN profiles, forced authorisation and client matter codes, intercom, whisper coaching and predictive search on new calls.

UK Delivery

We aim for next day delivery. Any order placed before 1.00 pm on any business day (Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays) should be delivered the next business day before 5.30 pm (assuming the item is in stock).

Worldwide Delivery

We ship worldwide from our UK warehouse. All international shipment charges are quoted per parcel. If your order exceeds the standard parcel size further shipment charges will be due before the order can be shipped. We will contact you directly with any additional shipment charges are due.

  1. The Customer is required to inspect all goods upon receipt and to notify MF Communications Limited of any defects or complaints within 7 days of receiving goods.
  2. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the safe return of faulty or incorrect goods to MF Communications Limited.
  3. All goods returned must clearly state customers name, order no, telephone number, fault details and proof of purchasing. These goods must be in MF Communications Limited’s original packaging and condition, with original insertions, fixtures and parts. Failure to do so will result in the refund being invalidated.
  4. We use tamper proof labels which are stuck to each item sold by MF Communications Limited. This ensures that goods have been purchased from MF Communications Limited. When the label is peeled back MF Communications Limited Company details sticks to the glue and the label will then say void. No goods will be accepted back unless this label is intact.
  5. Restocking Fee 20% UK Only. Returned Goods MUST be in re-saleable condition or customer will be charged full invoice value.
