The Cisco SPA525G IP Phone is a 5-line business phone with 320×240 pixel colour display and enhanced connectivity and media for a superior small business user experience.
The SPA525G business phone supports up to two SPA500S (32 button) expansion modules, Power over Ethernet, 802.11g Wi-Fi client mode, and Bluetooth headset.
Basic user features include 4 soft keys, caller ID, call forwarding, call transfer, 3-way conferencing, call parking, call history, phonebook, and built-in full-duplex speakerphone. There is also multimedia support for MP3s, digital photo display, RSS feeds and display of video surveillance camera streams.
The Cisco SPA525G provides secure communications with a number of Wi-Fi and phone security provisions, including password protection, advanced encryption and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
The Cisco SPA525G IP Phone also supports productivity through VoiceView Express, and Cisco XML Applications when interfacing with Cisco Unified Communication 500 Series in SPCP Mode.
The easy wireless setup is highly secure with industry standard WPS and the embedded SSL VPN client allows for secure phone connectivity. The Cisco SPA525G supports both SIP with SPA9000 or leading third party call control platforms and SPCP Protocols with Cisco Unified Communication 500 Series. The phone can grow with the company as new features can be added over time with firmware updates.
