The Entel DR482 UHF Digital/Analogue Mixed-Mode Repeater (DR482) is a compact, robust, and adaptable UHF repeater that ensures a 100% transmit duty cycle. It is designed to withstand demanding conditions on land or at sea, combining strong construction with continuous-duty performance in a compact size.
A key feature that sets the DR482 repeater apart is its integrated design. The device features an internal AC power supply (along with a rapid charger for external lead-acid battery backup) and an optional internal duplexer, which minimizes installation challenges and avoids the need for bulky external hardware that is often necessary with compact repeater systems.

Exceptionally Sturdy – Entel’s development team acknowledges that durability and reliability are closely linked. Encased in an ultra-compact housing with a low thermal footprint, the DR482 is engineered to function in the most demanding environments. It has been subjected to tests for thermal shock, vibration, impact shock, solar radiation, and ingress. In conjunction with Entel’s thorough life-cycle testing program, users can look forward to many years of hassle-free operation, even under the most rigorous conditions.
Integrated Power Source – The repeater is equipped with a built-in AC Mains power supply that is capable of charging a 12V backup battery.
Built-in Protections – The DR482 is safeguarded against antenna faults, excessive temperature, interference signals, and fluctuations in AC mains and DC supply voltage.
Three Mounting Configurations – The DR482 can be positioned on a desk, installed in a 19” rack (where two repeaters can be placed side-by-side on a 3U rack tray), or mounted on a wall using the optional wall mounting kit.
Simplified User Programming – Our unique and intuitive Windows® application means there is no longer a requirement to return a repeater to your dealer for reprogramming or updates. With the user-friendly app, you can easily transfer programming data sent by your Entel dealer, implement software updates, or add new features to your Entel DR482 repeater on your own.
Three Power Supply Modes – The DR482 repeater can be powered in three different configurations:
• AC Mains only
• 12V DC only
• AC Mains with Battery Backup
Optional Internal Duplexer – The DR482 repeater can be supplied with either separate Tx and Rx connectors for dual-antenna operation or an external duplexer, or it can include an internal duplexer for single antenna operation.
Mixed Mode Functionality – To support legacy analogue radios, the repeater can be configured to automatically switch between DMR Digital and Analogue modes.
