Lucent Business Phones

Lucent Technologies began life in 1996 as a telecoms equipment supplier with headquarters in Murray Hill, New Jersey (United States). The company was formed of the AT&T Technologies business unit, AT&T Corporation, which included Western Electric and Bell Labs.

At the end of 2006, French telecoms company, Alcatel, acquired Lucent, forming Alcatel-Lucent.

From April 2000, the company underwent a number of changes, with the consumer products unit being sold off and the business systems section of the operation becoming a separate company called Avaya.

MF Communications supplies a number of Lucent business phones. These include the Lucent-Avaya EuroGeneris Galilee phone 960A. This digital display phone with direct station select (DSS) keys, is compatible with the EuroGeneris system and is part of the Lucent-Avaya phone range.
